When in manual or auto mode, the purge valve will be opened whenever switching to vent mode while at
a positive pressure (above atmosphere). In manual mode, the internal purge sequence can be run by the
Purge button on the Home screen. When in auto mode, the purge sequence will be required to be run
when switching to control mode after a vent has occurred.
The purge sequence will require a DUT pressure to be entered by clicking the Purge button [
] and
entering a value using the digital keyboard (Figure 8.6.3-C). This will initiate the process of controlling
close to that pressure then isolating the instrument by closing the measure/control valve, then opening
the purge valve. This process will occur 4 times to ensure all contaminants are cleared from the system.

Warning
Caution! If the Automatic Contamination Prevention System is operated in Manual
mode, there is a risk of the solenoid valves to heat if the system is kept on for
more than a few seconds

The collection bottle should be periodically inspected for liquid contaminents and
purged through the plug at the bottom
