Change of product means that one rinse aid or detergent is replaced by another. If
these different products are mixed, it can lead to unwanted occurrences, such as
precipitations.
• Before using new products, thoroughly rinse the hoses and dosing units with
warm water.
8.3
Washing with the dishwashing machine
8.3.1
Prepare dishwasher
Warning
Danger of injury from contact with chemicals
Detergent and rinse aid result in damage to health if in contact with skin or eyes or
if swallowed.
• Use eye protection.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Contact a physician immediately if chemicals or water containing chemicals
(rinse water) are swallowed.
Beware
Danger of crushing
Body parts could be crushed when closing hood.
• When the hood starts to move downwards (manually or automatically operated
hood), ensure that no body parts are between the hood and objects located un-
derneath.
• Close manually operated hoods using the blue handle.
System operators must be very familiar with the Operating Instructions of the dish-
washing machine. Incorrect operation may result in personal injury or material dam-
age.
1. Ensure the water supply is available.
2. Switch on the local mains switch.

Check detergent and rinse aid and top up, if required, see chapter “Replace
canister
4. Ensure that the hoses are fed down to the base of the container.
Note
If there is air in the hoses, the automatic dosing will not function correctly. The rel-
evant pipe must be ventilated, see page 49.
5. If the display is dark, press the Wake-up key to activate the display.
