Do not expose the charger to rain, water and humidity.
The charging process should take place in ambient temperature , ranging between 0°C and 40°C.
Charging batteries in other conditions may be unsuccessful or may lead to damage of the
batteries.
If the charging indicator is not illuminated, disconnect cords for 10 minutes and after this period
of time try reconnecting them. If this does not help, contact the service department.
When the charge indicator remains yellow after charging for more than 12 hours, contact the
service department.
In order to safely charge batteries, follow the recommendations below:
Park your wheelchair as close to the grounded socket as possible.
Turn off the wheelchair.
Make sure that the electric power supply of the wheelchair is turned on (the clutch is in proper position -
drive mode).
Connect the charger to the charging socket.
Connect the charger to grounded socket, remember to check whether the socket has proper voltage -
115V/230V.
Turn on the charger (red - the battery is low, yellow - the battery is half charged, green - the battery is
fully charged). In case when LEDs flesh in an irregular manner, turn the charger off. Check the connection
of the charger and reconnect the charger. In case when the charging procedure will proceed without
complications, diodes marking the battery charge level will light up (as described above).
The optimal charging time takes 5-6 hours (in winter it lasts slightly longer).
When charging is finished, disconnect the charger from the socket, and then take the plug out of the
charging socket.
ATTENTION
In case when the wheelchair will remain unused for a longer period of time, take the batteries out and
store them in a dry and cold place.
Avoid complete failure of the battery.
If you are using the wheelchair every day, charge batteries every day.
If you are using the wheelchair once a week, charge batteries once a week.
It is not allowed to partially charge batteries (f. ex. connect batteries for a shorter time than a full
charging cycle), as this may damage the battery or limit its durability.
Only fully charged batteries can be stored.
If you are not using your wheelchair on regular basis, in order to maintain durability of batteries, charge
them at least once every two weeks, observing a full charging process.
Always replace the batteries with the ones delivered with your wheelchair.
In case when the battery is damaged or has to be changed, report to your distributor. Do not throw the
battery into the recycle bin, instead, handle it to the distributor.
In order to prevent short circuit and battery damage never touch battery contacts with metal objects.
