System preventing motor overheat
The wheelchair is equipped with a system preventing motor overheat. This system monitors the temperature
of the control panel, which translates into the motor temperature. When the control panel reaches critical
temperature (140°F / 60°C) the power of the motor is temporarily decreased. This limitation of power results in
smaller speed of the wheelchair, which shall be maintained until the motor and control panel reach the normal
temperature level again. In case of severe motor overheat, the safety system may turn off the motor to protect
it from possible damage.
Fault detection system
The fault detection system was created to ensure user safety. It allows to quickly detect and diagnose faults
within the control panel, as well as within the whole electric system. Short flashes of the battery charge
indicator signify particular defects. The number of flashes reflects a separate fault, which is presented in table
on page 15. If you detect any of the defects listed in the index of defects, contact your distributor immediately.
