Connecting the
exhaust
piping for used-up regeneration gas
1. Make
an exhaust
piping between the “Regeneration gas OUTLET” system connection and the factory’s
disposal facility (exhaust).
2. Connection is depressurized.
Caution!
Annoyance by bad smell is expected, as soon as any used-up regeneration gas is escaping to the
surroundings. Environmental pollution and effects detrimental to health, however, are not known,
but cannot be excluded. The manufacturer does not assume any liability!
When using toxic or radioactive material, there should be no discharge of the gas to the surroun-
dings at all!
Connect the
exhaust
piping for vacuum waste gases
1. Make
an exhaust
piping between the vacuum pump exhaust and the disposal facility of the factory (exhaust).
Observe the vacuum pump manufacturer’s instructions for connections.
2. Connection is depressurized.
Note!
Depending on the place where the vacuum pump is used an oil mist filter can be used
instead of the disposal piping. Pertinent information and supplying company may be obtained
from:service@mbraun.

Connect the cooling water
Not required in systems with compressor cooling!
1. Make a supply line between the cooling water source and the “Cooling water INLET” system connection by
means of a supply pipe.
Observe chapter 3 “Preparations for Connections”.
2. Make a supply line between the “Cooling water OUTLET” system connection and the depressurized disposal
of water.
3. Turn on the cooling water. The cooling water flow rate to be set depends on the available water temperature,
see chapter 3 “Preparations for connections”.
Connect the system to power
Insert the power plug into the grounded, fuse-protected socket. The required values for connecting should be
taken from the type plate.
