Chapter 4: Installation
The initial installation of the system is recommended to be done by a competent
MBRAUN
technician only.
Caution!
When handling gases

is permanently existent! The connection of the
system
should be carried out by competent and experienced person
n
el only!
MBRAUN
standard systems are not suited for using radioactive or toxic agents. In such a case,
special equipment components are required as well as special methods for the connections
and precautions have to be observed
.

Connecting the working gas
1. Connect the pressure reducing valve with the working gas source.
Observe the instructions for connection given by the manufacturer of the pressure reducing valve.
2. Make a supply line between the working gas source and the “Working gas INLET” system connection.
Observe chapter 3 “Preparing the connections”
3. The “Working gas INLET” system connection is marked by the exact value of the supply pressure.
Set pressure reducing valve to this value and open valve.
Caution!
Mind the exact pressure setting! Overpressure will damage the system - low pressure will cause
malfunction!
Connecting the regeneration gas
1. Connect the pressure reducing valve with the regeneration gas source.
Observe the pressure reducing valve manufacturer’s instructions for connections
2. Connect the working gas source with the “Regeneration Gas INLET” system connection using the supply pipe.
Observe chapter 3 “Preparing the connections”
3. The “Regeneration Gas INLET” system connection is marked by the exact value of the supply pressure.
Set pressure reducing valve to this value and open valve.
Caution!
Mind the exact pressure setting! Overpressure will damage the system - low pressure will cause
