caused by improper usage of the unit.
•
For children safety reasons do not leave
polyethylene bags, used as a packaging,
unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger
of suffocation!
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and
disabled persons.
•
Never use the unit if the power cord or the
power plug is damaged, if the unit works
improperly or after it was dropped. Do not
try to repair the unit by yourself. Contact an
authorized service center for all repair issues.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low
temperature it is necessary to keep it for
at least two hours at room temperature
before switching on.
–
Before switching the unit on for the first
time, make sure that the mains voltage cor-
responds to the voltage specified on the
unit body.
–
Clean the non-stick coating with a damp
cloth or a sponge and then wipe it dry.
–
Before using the unit apply some vegetable
oil on the non-stick coating of the frying
plates (2, 4), spread the oil over the whole
surface and wipe the surplus oil with a
paper napkin.
–
Close the unit, plug it in, set the maximal
heating mode «MAX» with the temperature
control knob (7), then switch the unit off
after 5-10 minutes by setting the tempera-
ture control knob (7) to the position «MIN»
and unplug it.
–
Wait until the frying plates (2, 4) cool down
completely and remove the remaining veg-
etable oil with a paper napkin.
Note: While the first unit operation the heating
elements burn, therefore occurrence of a small
amount of smoke or foreign smell is possible. It
is normal and is not a sign of malfunction.
Operation
–
Install the unit on a flat stable surface.
–
Put the container (9) under the chute (8).
–
Oil the non-stick coating of frying plates (2,
4) slightly.
–
Set the temperature control knob (7) to the
position «MIN».
–
Insert the power plug into the socket, the
power indicator (6) will light up.
–
Turn the temperature control knob (7) and
set the required heating mode of frying
plates (2, 4), the pilot lamp of the heating
element (5) will light up.
–
Once the set temperature is reached and
the pilot lamp (5) goes out you can start
frying.
–
Open the grill; to do this, take the handle (1)
and lift the upper frying plate (2).
–
Carefully put the products on the lower
frying plate (4), avoid burns by possible
splashes of juice or fat.
–
Press the products with the upper frying
plate (2) moving it down towards the lower
frying plate (4) and holding it by the handle
(1).
–
After the products are ready, lift the upper
frying plate (2) by the handle (1), put the
prepared products into an appropriate dish;
use wooden or heat-resistant plastic kitch-
en tools to remove the products.
–
If you are going to use the grill again, close it
by lowering the upper frying plate (2) on the
lower frying plate (4).
Note:
You can use the unit as a flat frying surface.
To do this, open the grill by the handle (1)
before plugging it in and lift the upper frying
plate (2). Keeping the handle (1) in vertical
position, move the lock (3) upwards and,
holding the lock (3), open the grill. Use the
handle (1) as a stand. If the upper frying plate
(2) is hampered by the supporting legs of the
lower frying plate (4), slightly press the upper
frying plate (2) and open the grill.

After you finish using the grill, switch it off
by setting the temperature control knob (7)
to the position «MIN», and unplug the unit.
–
Before cleaning the unit wait till it cools
down completely.
