Introduction
Monarch LCS allows you to import and use Kaltura events in the Monarch
Scheduler. From a custom page in the Monarch Command Center, you establish a
connection with the Kaltura service, and then use the Monarch Scheduler to fetch
and load events created in Kaltura MediaSpace.

Please note the following:
• This document does not describe how to use Kaltura beyond what is required
for configuring the Monarch to accept Kaltura events. You are expected to be
familiar with Kaltura functionality and/or terminology.
• References to Kaltura in this document (including user interface
instructions) were up-to-date at the time of this document’s publication.
Connecting Monarch to Kaltura
To connect your Monarch device to Kaltura, you will need the following Kaltura
credentials:
• Partner ID and Administrator Secret
Found in the Kaltura Management Console under
Settings > Integration
Settings > Account Info
.
• Service URL
The URL for the Kaltura API. If the API is hosted by Kaltura the URL is the
default
. However, you may be hosting locally.
• User ID
Your personal Kaltura User ID.

To connect Monarch to Kaltura:

Open a web browser and type the following into the address bar:
http://<Monarch IP address>/Kaltura
For example, if your Monarch IP address is 192.168.12.345, type in
http://192.168.12.345/Kaltura
and press
ENTER
