You can add any custom field you want to the XML. As long as you follow the
proper syntax, Monarch will include it in the Open Capture XML file.
Creating and importing a calendar
To create a calendar for use with Monarch LCS:

Use either Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook to create scheduled
streaming or recording events.
For specific instructions on how to create iCalendar files in either Google
Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, please refer to the help provided by Google
and Microsoft in their respective applications.

Begin each event name with “
LCS-
”.

Enter a start time and end time for each event.

Enter the device name of the Monarch LCS as the location for each event.

Export the iCalendar file to a location that can be accessed by the Monarch
LCS Command Center.

Scheduler
tab in the Command Center. To load the calender from
a file, go to step

To load the calendar from a file, do the following:

Under
Load Schedule
, select
From file.

Click
Browse
or
Choose Files
depending on your web browser, find the
.ics
file you created, and then click
Load
.

Enable the schedule by turning the toggle button on.

To load the calender from a URL, do the following:

Under
Load Schedule
, select
From URL.

Type the URL in the field provided, then click
Fetch
to get the schedule
from the specified URL.

(Optional) To periodically fetch new schedules, specify how often in
minutes the Monarch should check for schedule changes. If you leave this
at zero (0), the Monarch will not check for new schedules.

Display calendar events from
, click inside the starting and ending date
fields to specify the number of days you want the calendar to be able to
display. The calendar can display a maximum of 364 days. For example, if
you select 09/26/2017 as your start date, the latest end date you can select is
09/25/2018.
Your schedule is now loaded and Scheduler mode is enabled.
