5) Remove intake manifold rear stiffener (1) and generator adjust

arm reinforcement (2) from intake manifold (3).

6) Remove exhaust pipe (1).

7) Disconnect following electric wires:

MAP sensor

CMP sensor

Engine oil pressure switch

High-tension cords

ECT sensor

Ground wire from intake manifold and cylinder head

Fuel injectors

TP sensor

IAC valve

Oxygen sensor (if equipped)

EVAP canister purge valve (if equipped)  and then release
above wire harnesses from clamps.

8) Disconnect following hoses:

Canister purge hose from EVAP canister purge valve

Radiator inlet hose from thermostat case

Brake booster hose from intake manifold

Heater inlet hose from thermostat case

Throttle body outlet hose from throttle body

9) Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle body and each

clamp.
