10.5 Installing the maxium Beamer on an Equipment Carrier
(Trolley/Cart or Ceiling-Mounted Supply-and-Suspension Unit)
To install the entire system – the maxium
Beamer, the maxium HF-surgical unit, the argon
gas cylinders and the required accessories –
conveniently as a self-contained unit, we recom-
mend using the maxium Cart, which has been
specially developed for this purpose.
The maxium HF generator and the maxium
Beamer are placed on top of each other and are
then secured by connecting them with fixing rails
and ball-head bolts.
The rear of the Cart’s compartment provides
storage space for up to two 5-liter argon gas cyl-
inders that must be secured with straps. When
installing the cylinders, be sure to position the
one to be used so that the pressure reducer’s
manometer can be easily read. The cylinder’s
protective cap can be stored on the floor of the
Cart beside the cylinder. A special pocket in
which you can safely and conveniently store the
corresponding documents is provided as well.
Should you wish to install the system on a ceiling
mount (supply-and-suspension system), Ge-
brüder Martin offers appropriate bolts (item num-
ber 08-063-00-18) and retaining plates (item no.
08-022-00-18).
Flexible connecting tubes for connecting the unit
to a central argon gas supply system are also
available on request.
