•
Backspace
: Deletes the character to the left of the cursor and moves the cursor one position

modes. In the “Overwrite” mode, the newly entered character replaces the character high-
lighted by the cursor in the Text line and the cursor moves one position to the right. In the “In-
sert” mode, the newly entered character is inserted to the left of the cursor while the cursor
moves one position to the right together with the rest of the text.
•
Arrows (
←
and
→
)
: The arrow buttons enable you to navigate the cursor within the Text line.
•
Enter
: Terminates text input and saves the current settings under the name entered in the Text
line.
The procedure can be canceled anytime by pressing the MENU button.
6.4.5
Deleting a Program
To delete a program, proceed as follows: press the MENU button, then select the “Programs”
and
then the “Delete program” items with the rotary switch. This calls up a list of programs (with a pre-
view available in each case). Select the item of your choice and press the rotary switch to delete it.
The system will now display a query confirmation to prevent accidental deletion: “Do you really
want to delete the selected program?” To execute the command and delete the program for good,
confirm by selecting “Delete”. If you select “Cancel”, the program is retained.
Note
•
The "standard program" preset by Martin can neither be deleted nor overwritten!
