Storing Settings Under a New Name (“Save under“)
If you want to save a modified program but wish to retain the old settings, you can do so with the
“
Save
under
”
function. In effect, a new program is created which must be given a new name.
To create a new name, the system provides a simple text editor in the form of a table that contains
the necessary alphanumerical characters. You simply cycle through this character list and the edit-
ing functions with the rotary switch. Once you reach the item or function of your choice, press the
rotary switch for confirmation. The selected character is then displayed in the Text line, or the se-
lected function is carried out immediately. When you have completed your text, select the “Enter”
field and confirm by pressing the rotary switch. This saves the current settings as a new program
and quits the text editor.
