WASTE WATER DIVERTER
To select the desired waste destination, a ball valve is located in the
machinery space on the starboard side (see Figure 6.17). If the valve handle
is in the position shown in Figure 6.17, the waste will flow overboard. Check
local regulations as to disposal procedures. To divert the waste to the black
water tank (holding tank), the handle must be rotated through 180 degrees.
Do not have the handle in any intermediate position as this will obstruct the
flow of waste and cause a blockage.

GULPER PUMP (GREY WATER)
Grey water is waste water that has been used on the boat
mainly for cleaning and must be disposed of in the sea.
The shower stalls drain to the gulper pump located under
the companionway floor (see Figure 6.18).
The gulper pump is switched on by a pressure switch.
When water from shower is draining, the pump will activate
and discharge the waste water overboard. In general
the unit will only require inspection if incorrect operation
is noticed. The services of a marine technician will be
necessary if this occurs. It is recommended that you
contact your dealer first and follow his advice.
The output from the gulper pump is plumbed to overboard
on the port side (see Figures 6.19 and 6.24a).
