light stays on for 20 seconds, or until the ignition is turned on. The dome (interior) light
also comes on automatically when the ignition is turned off, enabling the owner to
quickly gather belongings before exiting the car. The light stays on for 20 seconds, or
until the system is armed via remote, or until the ignition is turned on again. This
function only works if the door wire is connected directly to the interior light door
sense wire.

Factory setting:
INHIBIT (1 chirp in inhibit mode, 2 chirps in enable mode)
Description:
Inhibit mode: NEG1 and NEG2 become ‘inhibit’ wires which stop the factory remote
interface from arming/disarming the alarm i.e. usually connected to the key barrel or
dash switch wires so that when the door is unlocked manually or by pressing the dash
switch it will NOT disarm the alarm.
Enable mode: POS2 input becomes an ‘enable’ wire which must receive a positive pulse
to ‘enable’ the upgrade interface to arm/disarm the system when they receive a trigger
from the door motor. This is usually connected to the indicators as they will activate only
when the factory remote is pressed.
