Electrical connection to the supply terminal strips
The description of the electrical connections below are first grouped ac-
cording to numbers of the supply terminal strips (e.g. X1, X2 etc.) and
then according to the functions.
Serial interface X1
The serial interface is generally used for programming, parameterization
and diagnoses during startup operation and service procedures.
It can be alternatively operated as a RS 232 or RS 485.
The RS-232 interface is needed for programming, parameterizing and di-
agnosis during startup operation and service procedures.
It is also used when setting the drive addresses as a requirement for op-
erations via RS-485.
With the RS 232, it is possible to parameterize only one drive at a time
when using the DriveTop startup program.
