3.7.5 Connect optional Hydraulic Selector Valve system
Each Reddi-Arm is designed with a yellow hydraulic circuit
to provide oil to the selector bank mounted on the front of
the frame. Connect this coupler to a valve on the tractor
that is equipped with a float feature that continuously
supplies oil to the solenoid.
The control box is mounted in the cab and the power cord
is plugged into 12V power outlet.
Follow this procedure when connecting the selector valve
control switches.
1. Retrieve the selector valve control box from its stored
location.
IMPORTANT:
Tractor cabs are designed with an access opening to
allow wires or the components to enter or exit the cab in
a controlled manner rather than leaving a window or door
open. Refer to tractor manual for its location.
2. Mount selector valve control box in cab.
3.
Connect power line to the 12V power outlet.
4.
Route the wires out of the cab through the opening in
the bottom rear edge of the cab.
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended that the switch assembly be removed
from the tractor and Reddi-Arm and stored inside in a
secure location to prevent deterioration from the
environment. Unplug the control wires at the terminal to
remove switch assembly.
5.
Plug assembly plug into terminal on control wiring
harness.
6.
Reverse the above procedure when unhooking.
