3. Cleaning, maintenance
3.1 Safety instructions
■
Disconnect the ventilation unit as well as all other components from the
mains supply before carrying out any cleaning and maintenance work
(switch off mains fuse).
■
Risk of injury if the front door is folded down. Always hold the front
door in place with one hand while opening the quick-release clips so
that it doesn't fold down suddenly. Behave in a security and safety-
conscious way. No persons, animals or objects should be within the
opening area of the door, in order to avoid injuries and damage.
■
If necessary, place a soft object under the front door so that it is not
damaged when opened.
■
Never operate the ventilation unit without a filter.
■
Further system components (earth heat exchanger, re-heating register,
etc.) must be cleaned and maintained in line with the corresponding
instructions and regulations.
■
Clean the disk valve with a damp, soft cloth.
3.2 Filter change
Change the filter every three months (see Chapter 2.8, Items 3 and
8). Only use original replacement filters (filter class G4).
1. First, open the 2 quick-release clips and carefully swing the front door
downwards.
2. After opening the front door, wait until both fans have stopped.
3. Pull the two metal frames with the dust filters out of the ventilation unit.
Then, take the filter inserts out of the metal frames and dispose of them
in line with local regulations.
4. Clean the metal frames with a damp cloth and let them dry off.
5. Insert new filter inserts into the metal frames so that the filter lie flat right
into the corners, without any folds.
6. Push the filters into the ventilation unit with the metal bars in the direction
of the heat exchanger (see arrow direction).
7. Swing the front door upwards and close both quick-release clips.
8. Switch the ventilation unit on at the operator panel.
