On the computer mounting turn the key labeled operation to the normal position.

Press the green computer power button

Again verify there are no objects that could interfere with the movement of the motion system.
Using either the supplied "mouse" or the touch screen locate and press the home key.

Once the home sequence has completed and all the axis positions read out are at 0.0000. Load the
appropriate size tooling for the tubing to be cut. This includes the 5C collet in the rotary axis,
cutting collet, cutting clamp, and cutting bushing. To insert the 5C collet slide the 5C collet into the
rotary axis noting the alignment slot. Once the collet is inserted rotate the blue draw bar to tighten
the collet in place. With the air supply to the 5C collet off if required loosen the 4 set screws on the
yellow tension adjustment knob and adjust by rotating clockwise or counter clockwise increase or
decrease the amount of travel of the blue draw bar to open or close the 5C collet. Refer to the
insertion of collet instructions at the end of this chapter for instructions and illustrations.

To install the cutting collet find the correct size
collet diameter. Note the alignment notch on
the top of the collet.
10.
Insert the collet with the notch facing up into
the collet holder block. On the top of the
collet holder block, locate the threaded hex 4-
40 detent.
11.
Slowly turn clockwise to lower the detent while
slowly rotating the cutting collet once the
detent is in the alignment notch and the cutting
collect face is flush to the collet holder tighten
the detent until it stops.
