Testing Flash Lite Content

Macromedia Flash Professional 8 includes a Flash Lite emulator that lets you test your
application in the authoring tool as it will appear and function on an actual device. When
you’re satisfied with the application running in the emulator, you can test it on an actual
device. This chapter describes the Flash Lite testing and debugging features that are available
in Flash Professional 8.

The Flash Lite testing features in Flash Professional 8 consist of two components: the Flash
Lite emulator and the Device Settings dialog box. You use the Device Settings dialog box to
select which devices are available to you to preview in the Flash Lite emulator.
