Finalizer application
A NucleoBond
®
Xtra Midi eluate containing 250 µg plasmid DNA (8 kbp) was loaded onto a
NucleoBond
®
Finalizer and eluted two-fold with increasing volumes of TE buffer.
The
NucleoBond
®
Finalizer
is designed to hold a maximum of 500 µg DNA and is
therefore ideally suited to be used in combination with
NucleoBond
®
Xtra Midi
.
Maximum DNA recovery can be achieved by using > 600 µl of elution buffer. For a
higher concentration experienced users can lower the elution buffer volume to 400-
200 µl.
Table 4 gives an overview about recovery and concentration of different amounts of
plasmid DNA loaded onto a
NucleoBond
®
Finalizer
. DNA was eluted two-fold with
increasing volumes of TE-EF. Please refer to this tables to select an elution buffer
volume that meets your needs best.
