Push down on shield

supports front side (D). Pull pivot pins (B) from ball
joints (C) on both sides of the frame. To avoid misplacing
parts, reinstall the hairpins into the pivot pins.

Lower the front end of the shield to the ground.

Support the shield under support (C) at the back end with a
floor jack (or equivalent).
8.
Remove lynch pins (F) and washers (E) from pins (B) on
both ends of rock shaft (G).
9.
Remove lowering arms (D) from rock shaft (G).
10. Store bushings (A), washers (E) and lynch pins (F) on
pins (B).
11. Lower the back end of the shield to the ground and move
the jack away from the work area.
12. Start the windrower and fully raise the swath compressor
lift mechanism. Slowly drive the windrower away from
the shield.
