Remove bearing assembly (B) and seal (A) from roller
tube (C) as follows:
a.
Attach a slide hammer (D) to threaded shaft.
b.
Tap out the bearing assembly.

Clean inside the roller tube (C) and check for wear or
damage. Replace if necessary.

Install the bearing assembly (B) into roller by pushing
on the outer race of bearing.
NOTE:
The bearing is fully positioned when the 14 mm
(0.55 in.) dimension (D) is achieved.
5.
Apply grease in front of the bearing.
6.
Install seal (A) into roller by pushing on the outer and
inner race of the seal.
NOTE:
The seal is fully positioned when the 3 mm
(0.12 in.) dimension (C) is achieved. A flat
washer (1.0 in. ID x 2.0 in. OD) works well to
push against the seal.
7.
Ensure the bearing and seal turn freely.
8.
Reinstall roller assembly in to deck.
