Mounting the handlebar
Note:
All mounting steps must be
performed on both sides.
Note:
Place the bottom part of the
handlebar on the machine as shown
in such a way that the pull starter
holder (24) is on the right side.
– Position the bottom part of the handle
bar (3) into the locators on the product
and push through the carriage bolts (25).
– Position the toggle nuts (26) and tighten.
– Screw the handle (2) using the carriage
bolts (27) and tensioning lever nuts (28)
onto the handle under section.
– Press the clamping lever towards the han-
dlebar.
– If the clamping lever does not safely
clamp: open the clamping lever again in a
clockwise direction and tighten it to the
limit stop.
– If the clamping lever cannot be tightened
to the limit stop: open the clamping lever,
make a counter-clockwise revolution, and
tighten it to the limit stop.
– Attach the pull starter (13) to the pull
starter holder (24) as illustrated.
– Attach the Bowden cables to the bottom
part of the handlebar with clips (29) as
shown.
Mounting the collection box
– Insert the carry handle (30) into the col-
lection basket upper (31) until it engages.
– Attach the collection bag (32) to the col-
lection basket upper (31).
– Press the rubber lip as far as possible into
the guide!
Using for the first time
– Charging the battery pack
CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Comply
with all safety instructions when han-
dling rechargeable devices.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the
unit!
Do not allow the battery pack to
deep discharge.
Note:
The Li-Ion battery pack can be
charged at any time without affecting
the lifetime of the unit. Interrupting the
charging process will not damage the
battery pack.
– The battery pack must be charged prior to
the first start-up (charging time:
– Press in the locking button (20) and
remove the battery from the device.
– Plug the power supply into a mains
socket.
– Push the connector of the power supply
into the socket (21).
The charging status is displayed by the con-
trol light (23):
– Slot the battery pack into the device and
make sure it clicks into place correctly.
Checking the remaining capacity of the
battery
– Press the button (18).
The remaining capacity of the battery is dis-
played by the control lights (19).
Filling with fuel
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Petrol is
highly inflammable!
Before refuelling, switch off the motor
and let it cool down.
Closely observe all safety information
for handling fuel.
NOTICE! Risk of product damage!
The product is supplied without motor
oil.
Make sure it is filled with motor oil
before using for the first time.
Note:
Use only appropriate fuel
(
– Open and remove the tank cover (14).
– Carefully top up the fuel (tank contents:
– Re-tighten the tank cover (14) by hand.
