q Com mand - Set Label Width
All Printers
This com mand will automatically set the left mar gin
ac cord ing to the fol low ing rules:
(print head width - la bel width) / 2
The
q
value affects the available print width. Min i-
mizing the
q
value will maximize the print length and
print speed (dou ble buff ering).
If the
R
Com mand (Reference Point) is sent after this
command, the im age buffer will be automatically re-
formatted to match the width of the print head and is
offset by the
R
com mand spec i fied im age buffer
start ing point, nul li fy ing the
q
com mand.
Example:
q416 :sets label width to 416 dots wide
