INSTALLATION
Standard Telephone Applications
CAUTION:
1 Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.
2 Never install telephone jacks in wet locations unless the jack is specifically
designed for wet locations.

Never touch uninstalled telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone
line has been disconnected at the network interface.
Use caution when installing or modifying telephone lines.
Wall Mounting
Choose a spot where the telephone wall jack is near an electrical outlet.
This phone requires a modular telephone jack and a standard electrical outlet
(120V AC).
Remove the Snap-On Base.
The Snap-On Base is designed for both table and wall mount installations.
The telephone comes with the Snap-On Base installed in the table mount

position. To wall mount this telephone you will need to reverse the position
of the Snap-On Base. This can be done by
depressing the clips on each side of the base
while gently lifting upwards.
Reattach the Snap-On Base.
Reverse the position of the Snap-On Base.
Insert the tabs into the bottom of the telephone
base and snap the clips firmly in place.
Connect the telephone line cord.
Insert one end of the telephone line cord into the
telephone base and other other end into the
telephone wall jack.

5 Connect the power cord.
Plug the power cord into the jack on the back of
the base. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical
outlet.
Mount the telephone to the wall jack.
Position the telephone base so the mounting
studs on the wall jack fit into the Snap-On Base.
Slide the telephone down on the mounting studs
until the phone locks in place.
