3.4 Power Connection
The required power for LGRF Reader operation, is a rated DC 24V (more than 300mA). For
power supply device, DC Adapter and SMPS (Switching mode power supply) suitable for the
power specification of LGRF-H Reader of LGIS shall be used.
If you find the side of Reader, the section appears as shown on [Fig. 3.4.1].

If you see the left side of the product in [Fig. 3.4.1], there is DC Jack Connector to be
connected to Adapter. In case of using 24V Adapter, direct connection is available. And it is
available to supply the power by using a power supply terminal located on the side of DC Jack.
Under the environment having a hazard of poor contact of DC Adapter Jack by vibration and
impact when installing the Reader, it is recommended to use the power terminal.
[Fig. 3.4.2] shows the common SMPS and 24V DC Adapter that are used for supplying the
power to LGRF-H Reader.
