JEPPESEN DATABASE UPGRADE
The data inside the Jeppesen database cartridge on the back of your
AirMap is a combination of Lowrance Avionics and Jeppesen. Database
updates are made based upon a data cartridge exchange program. Un-
like other manufacturers, you don’t need to return your AirMap for the
Jeppesen database upgrade, only the Jeppesen cartridge. Under this pro-
gram you will receive a new data cartridge and then return the expired
cartridge. The expired cartridge must be returned to avoid a US $75.00
surcharge. A $75.00 surcharge will be assessed for each data cartridge
not returned to LEI Extras, Inc. within 30 days of the shipment of the
updated cartridge.
Updates to the aviation database are available as follows:
1. A onetime no-charge* update is available in the event that the data-
base enclosed in the AirMap at the time of purchase has expired. This
update offer is valid during the first 30 days from original purchase and
dated proof of purchase is required.
2. Additional updates are available under either of the following options:
“On-request” non-subscription onetime update ................. US $75.00
or
Annual subscription consisting of 13 updates ................. US $795.00
(once every 28 days)

GPS receiver consists of copyrighted data compilations owned by Jeppe-
sen Sanderson, Inc., which have a limited, non-exclusive license to use
as specifically set forth herein. You may not copy, distribute or use any
portion of said copyrighted subject matter, except in connection with the
ordinary and intended use of the GPS receiver.
