modes as well as appropriate safety
warnings.
N
NOTE:
Switching off the Electronic
Stability Program in conjunction
with the selection of sport or track
mode, will still retain the enhanced
engine and transmission sport
features, but without any power-
induced wheel slip intervention.
Anti-lock Braking System and
Hydraulic Brake Assist will be
retained in any mode selected.
See page 164 for further information on
the Electronic Stability Control.
Braking System
Footbrake
Ventilated disc brakes are fitted to all
four wheels. These are operated by two
separate hydraulic brake circuits which
operate independently. If one brake
circuit fails, the other will still operate
but with reduced brake performance
resulting in increased vehicle stopping
distance.
A brake system fault has been
detected, or the level of the
brake fluid is low if this warning
symbol is shown in the driver’s
display at any other time than
briefly during engine start up. A
basic fault description message
will also be displayed.
Contact your Lotus immediately if you
think there is reduction in the braking
performance of your vehicle or if a
warning symbol and message is shown
in the driver’s display.
WARNING:
Failure to follow the
above instruction may result in an
accident.
