C hannel Editing
Setting up the VC R Plus+® system
Thanks to this program m ing system , you no longer need to
tediously enter the date, program m e num ber, start and end
tim es. All the inform ation needed by the D VD recorder for
program m ing is contained in the VC R Plus+® program m ing
num ber. ThisPlusC ode num ber is found in m ost TV listings
m agazine.
1.Turn on the TV set and the D VD -R ecorder,
and press [SO U R C E] to sw itch your TV’s input
source to “AV.”
2.Press [ED IT] to bring up the “C hannel Editor”
m enu, press [

] to select one of the “TV
C hannel” and press [
X
].
3.Press [

] [
T
] to select “VC R Plus+” icon
and press [EN TER ].
The display for entering a “G uide C hannel N um ber (G C N
num ber)”appears.
4.Press [
W
] [

]to enter the “G uide
C hannel N um ber (G C N num ber)”and press
[E N TE R ].
5.To set the G C N num ber for other channels,
repeat from step 2 to 4. O r, press [

] to select the “EXIT” icon and press
[EN TER ] to save the setting and exit the “C han-
nel Editor” m enu.
