Lower/raise the saw blade and set the depth
WARNING
Ejected parts hazard
The saw blade may be damaged if it is lowered too quickly. Segments can break out and be ejected in an
uncontrolled manner.
Slowly lower the saw blade into the cutting surface
Cordon off a safety zone around the cutting site
Wear personal protection equipment
NOTICE
Always lower the blade slowly to avoid damage.
Lowering and raising
The saw blade is raised or lowered using the hand wheel (Pos. 1).
Depth adjustment
Lower the saw blade using the crank until it barely touches the floor.
Set the depth indicator (Pos. 4) to “0” on the scale (Pos. 3).
The achieved cutting depth can now be checked on the scale.
The depth setting can be locked using the locking bolt (Pos. 2).
