5.7. Installing/replacing the saw blade (tool)
WARNING
Risk of cuts and crushing injuries
The rotating saw blade or flange can catch hold of clothing or body parts and sever them.
 Pull the plug

All parts must have stopped moving before working on the machine may begin.

Secure the machine against being switched back on
Always check saw blades before installing!

Blade for wet cutting? (1)

Is the blade approved and suitable for the cutting work? (

Do blade and mounting have the correct dimensions? (2) (7)

Does it comply with the approved cutting speed? (3) (4)
 Direction of rotation? (6)

Are all segments available?

The segments aren’t undercut?

Did the blade overheat? (blank steel tarnished blue = do not use!)
 No cracks in the blade?
Check: tap with a piece of wood
Blade echoes = OK
Blade sounds hollow = do not use! (exception: so-called silent blades)
