6 Decommissioning and preservation
Contact your dealer if you have questions concerning
decommissioning and preservation.
7 Faults and fault correction
WARNING!
Danger of severe injury due to improper execution of repair
tasks.
Therefore:
•
Only have repair tasks performed by a specialist workshop.
If there are faults in the operation of the weed brush, proceed
as specified in the fault table below. If there are faults that
cannot be corrected based on the instructions and measures
cited for fault correction, contact your specialist dealer.

The motor does not start
up.
Fuel control lever is not in “Choke”
position.
Place the fuel control lever in the
“Choke” position.
Spark plug connector is pulled off. Fit on the spark plug connector.
No fuel in the tank.
Fill with fuel.
Gas cock is closed.
Open gas cock.
Sometimes the bristles
do not move.
Bowden cable is not correctly
adjusted.
Contact specialist workshop.
Insufficient V-belt tension.
