3.3  Mounting the splash guard

 

See Fig. 3, page 16 for installation of the splash guard. 

 
CAUTION! 

Danger of injury and danger of material damage when mounting 
the  splash  guard,  or  if  the  weed  brush  is  used  without  splash 
guard. 

Therefore: 

•

 

Only  mount  the  splash  guard  when  the  motor  is  switched 

off!

 

•

 

Only  dismount  the  splash  guard  for  maintenance  tasks  or 

repairs.

 

•

 

Never operate the weed brush without splash guard!

 

 

  The splash guard has two round tubes that you insert in the 

two squared tubes attached on the weed brush.  

  Guide both round tubes into the squared tubes to the stop, 

so that the splash guard completely covers. 

  Screw the provided screw (Allen screw M5x25) through the 

bore  into  the  round  tube  and  secure  it  with  the  nut  (stop
