4 Operation
Prior to operation always read the instructions in the Safety
section (see section 1, page 7)!
WARNING!
Danger of injury when operating the weed brush.
Tossed-up objects can hit and injure persons who are in the
danger zone.
Therefore:
•
Ensure that no one is in the danger zone (see Fig. 1,
page 10).
•
Only switch on brush rotation after this has been done.
•
Always observe the danger zone during operation.
•
Stop the traction drive and brush rotation if people enter the
danger zone during operation.
•
The user is responsible relative to third persons who are in
the work area (entire area that will be processed).
DANGER!
Life-threatening danger due to movements of the weed brush.
When operating the weed brush on slopes, the weed brush can
start moving without control, due to gravity.
Therefore:
•
For tasks on sloping terrain always bear in mind that there is a
possibility of the machine rolling off.
•
If possible, guide the weed brush on slopes transverse to the
direction of the slope.
•
Do not use the weed brush on terrain with a slope of more than
37% (20 degrees).
