Communication / Protocols / IP window
The
IP
panel is used to configure the IP addresses.
Notice!
In order to be able to perform settings in this panel, the protocols
SLIP
or
PPP
must be ac-
tivated in the Communication panel (see chapter 9.3.16).
Dynamic IP address
Lets the VR 2300 obtain its IP address from its communication
counterpart, provided the counterpart is able to supply it. In the
case of Windows operating systems, the dynamic IP address
allocation must be turned off (only possible for the PPP setup
protocol, see chapter 9.3.16).
IP address and netmask
Describes the IP address and the network mask.
Gateway
Describes the IP address of the gateway server.
