Diagnostics
The following indices can be used for purposes of diagnostics. They show operating states. Settings
cannot be made.
5.19.1
Emergency telegram
By means of the emergency telegram, the I/O system communicates internal device errors to other
system bus nodes with high priority. 8 bytes of user data are available.
Emergency telegram structure
Note!
The diagnostic function is only supported by I/O compound modules from HW version
1B and by bus coupler modules from HW version 1A.
If a module in the system complies with an earlier HW version, the diagnostic function
is deactivated for all modules.
