Types of Information Transmitted
When LLDP transmission is permitted on the port (see “Enabling or Disabling
LLDP” on page 465 ), the port advertises the following required information in
type/length/value (TLV) format:

Chassis ID
 Port ID
 LLDP Time ‐ to ‐ Live
LLDP transmissions can also be configured to enable or disable inclusion of
optional information, using the following command:
