1. Take the Tablet Digitizer Pen or ThinkPad Active Pen out of the pen holder in the direction as shown by
the arrow.
2. Take the pen holder out of the pen-holder slot, if necessary.
Note: The Tablet Digitizer Pen or ThinkPad Active Pen contains pressure sensors. Do not push the tip of the
pen for an extended period of time. Do not subject the pen to shock or vibration.

Using the special keys
The ThinkPad Helix Ultrabook Pro Keyboard has several special keys. Press a special key to control the
associated function.
You can configure the Fn key and function keys in the Keyboard Properties window by doing the following:
1. Go to Control Panel, then change the view of Control Panel from Category to Large icons or Small icons.
2. Tap Keyboard . In the Keyboard Properties window, tap the Fn and function keys or ThinkPad F1–F12
keys tab.
