4 Start Up
Attention, danger of injury!
During handling in the area of the drawbar ensure that the
machine is secured against moving. Do not raise the support
foot before the machine has been safely coupled to the tractor.
Do not uncouple the machine, unless:
•
the ground for wheels and support foot is even and bearing.
•
the baling chamber is empty and the tail gate closed.
•
the wheels of the machine are blocked by means of wheel
chocks.
•
the hydraulic tubes are depressurised and uncoupled.
•
the hitch is released.
Nobody must stay between tractor and machine as long as the
vehicles are not secured against rolling (wheel chocks)!
Always keep children away from the machine!
4.1 Coupling the machine
Note!
Dependent on the equipment variant, a rotary or a rigid hitch
can be installed (observe national regulations!).
Correct coupling of the machine (including adjustment of the
drive shaft) is of decisive importance for troublefree operation of
the machine.
After coupling of the machine:
fully retract the support foot using the crank handle.
release the bolt.
push support foot fully in and lock it with the bolt.
