Luminous intensity

setting

Electronic setting

The Leica L5 FL is equipped with two independent

luminous intensity settings.

The continuous electronic adjustment allows

optimizing the lamp service life.

The exact adjustment of the required brightness

allows you to achieve the highest possible service

life of your halogen lamp. A change in the luminous

intensity also results in a change of the color

temperature of the emitted light.

The mechanical adjustment allows for the

continuous change of the luminous intensity with

constant color temperature.

Four lock-in positions are located between the two

settings of the adjusting knob. They represent fixed

positions and ensure that the brightness settings

can be reproduced.

The lowest luminous intensity is reached in

position 1, the maximum brightness is reached in

position 6.

The two barriers at positions 4 and 5 are

overcome by pressing the adjusting knob.
