The zone types are:
intensity – For the intensity channel of a light fixture. Uses one DMX channel. This type can
also be used for any 1-channel DMX attribute.
incan – For the intensity of an incandescent light. Uses one DMX channel.
fluor – For the intensity of a fluorescent light. Uses one DMX channel. Has a default low trim
level of 25%.
non-dim – For a non-dimming device. A non-dim has two output levels, 0% or 100%. Uses
one DMX channel.
RGB – For any RGB light. Virtual intensity. Patched to 3 consecutive DMX channels.
RGBI – For an RGB light with an intensity channel. Patched to 4 consecutive DMX channels.
Intensity controlled by the last DMX channel.
RGBx – For a light with RGB plus amber or white. Virtual intensity affects RGB plus amber
or white. Patched to 4 consecutive DMX channels. Use this for RGBA or RGBW.
RGBxI – For a light with RGB plus amber or white, with an intensity channel. Intensity
controlled by the last DMX channel. Patched to 5 consecutive DMX channels. Use this for
RGBAI, RGBWI.
RGBxy – For a light with RGB plus amber and white. Virtual intensity affects RGB plus
amber and white. Patched to 5 consecutive DMX channels. Use this for RGBAW, RGBWA.
RGBxyI: For a light with RGB plus amber and white, with an intensity channel. Intensity
controlled by the last DMX channel. Patched to 6 consecutive DMX channels. Use this for
RGBAWI, RGBWAI.
IRGB – For an RGB light with an intensity channel. Patched to 4 consecutive DMX channels.
Intensity controlled by the first DMX channel.
IRGBx – For a light with RGB, an intensity channel, and one more channel. Intensity
controlled by the first DMX channel. Patched to 5 consecutive DMX channels.
IRGBxy: For a light with RGB, an intensity channel, and two more channels. Intensity
controlled by the first DMX channel. Patched to 6 consecutive DMX channels.
IxRGB – For a light with RGB, an intensity channel, and one more channel. Intensity
controlled by the first DMX channel. Patched to 5 consecutive DMX channels.
IxRGBy: For a light with RGB, an intensity channel, and two more channels. Intensity
controlled by the first DMX channel. Patched to 6 consecutive DMX channels.
IxyRGB: For a light with RGB, an intensity channel, and two more channels. Intensity
controlled by the first DMX channel. Patched to 6 consecutive DMX channels.
colortemp – For the color temperature channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
hue – For the hue channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
saturation – For the saturation channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
strobe – For the strobe channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel. Default is 'not included' in
Full preset.
red – For the red channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
green – For the green channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
blue – For the blue channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
amber – For the amber channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
white – For the white channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
lime – For the lime channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
custom – For any channel of a light. Uses one DMX channel.
