6. Locate and connect the Power Transfor mer.

Locate the Power Transfor mer secured to the rear base. Carefully cut

the ca ble tie and remove the Power Transfor mer from the rear base.

Remove the packing and unwind the cord.

Locate the Motor Extension Wire connector attached to the rear base

Align the w hite dot on the Power Transfor mer connector with the arrow

on the Motor Extension Wire connector. Push the connector s together

until they are secured with no ga p between them.

To reduce the risk of serious injur y:

Never remove upholster y cover from detacha ble war ming pad.

Do not use pins or other means to fasten the detacha ble war ming

pad in place.

Do not modify the detacha ble war ming pad connector s in any way.

The connector s are designed to disconnect easily to prevent injur y.

NOTICE:

Two detachable warming pad ports are provided for convenience.

The chair is intended for use with only one detachable warming pad. Using
more than one detachable warming pad could cause the power
transformer to fail.

7. The detacha ble war ming pad is located in the pocket of the left ar m sitting.

The detacha ble war ming pad may be connected to either the seat or back

connector.

The back connector is located under the center back pillow on the r ight

hand sitting side of the chair (F

To reduce the risk of serious injur y:

Provide a clear path for operation of the chair, back and legrest. Place

ta bles and area r ugs at a distance to allow the legrest to fully extend

without r ubbing or interference.

8. Choose a location for the chair that is close to an electr ical outlet and

proceed to the Batter y Backup Assembly Instr uctions .

NOTICE:

To prevent damage to the connectors and cords, it is important

to unfasten all connections prior to removing the back.

9. To remove the back, unplug the Power Transfor mer and rever se the

Assembly Instr uctions steps .
