To reduce the risk of serious injury or death:

Do not use detacha ble war ming pad on an infant, an invalid, a

sleeping or unconscious person, or a person with poor blood circulation.

Doing so may result in bur ns or possibly death.

Bur ns can occur regardless of control setting, check skin under

detacha ble war ming pad frequently. Do not use on areas of

insensitive skin.

Do not use the detacha ble war ming pad if it is damaged. Never

machine wash or dr y; refer to Cleaning Instr uctions .

Do not use pins or other means to fasten the detachable warming pad

in place.

Do not sit on or crush the detachable warming pad; avoid sharp folds.

Never pull or carr y the detacha ble war ming pad by the power

supply cord.

To prevent a tr ipping hazard, disconnect and store detacha ble

war ming pad before exiting the chair.

Do not modify the detacha ble war ming pad connector s in any way.

The connector s are designed to disconnect easily to prevent injur y.

Heat Functions and Automatic Timer Operation

The heat system has an automatic timer that will shut off the HEAT functions

after a pproximately 30 minutes of operation.

Pushing down on any heat button will restar t the heat in that area.

When you are finished, make sure to push the heat buttons (if activated)

to tur n the heat off.

The heat cycle will temporar ily stop w hen using the

UP

or

DOWN

function, but will resume w hen the

UP

or

DOWN

function is finished.

Cleaning Instructions for the Detachable Warming Pad

1. Disconnect the detacha ble war ming pad from the back or seat connector.

2. Immediately blot any spills or liquid with a clean dr y cloth. Contact your

La-Z-Boy dealer to find out the cleaning code for your upholster y.

If the upholster y cleaning code is W or W-S , wipe the soiled area gently

using a damp cloth or sponge treated with mild detergent.

If the upholster y cleaning code is S, spot clean using a mild, water-free

dr y cleaning agent. Do not use water to clean this fa br ic. Do not use a

professional dr y cleaning ser vice. Do not use home dr y cleaning kit.

If the upholster y cleaning code is X, vacuum or br ush lightly to remove

soil. Do not use water or water-free dr y cleaning agents on this fa br ic.

3. Allow detacha ble war ming pad to dr y thoroughly before using.
