HOLD FUNCTION
This function needs to be used only if the user wants to “Pause” while the 6600-NG is ramping from one
target to another. This function is valid only when one or more outputs is in Control mode. When the
HOLD
key is pressed, the 6600-NG will stop ramping all outputs and try to maintain a zero-rate for Pt,
Ps2 and Ps1.
The Lower section will display the following message:
Output(s) are on “Hold”. Press
GO
to release “Hold”
In the Upper section, all the target values will be blinking. The Actual values will stop ramping towards
the targets.
Note: The target values are not altered during “HOLD”.
To release “HOLD”, press
GO
. The target values will stop blinking and the outputs will start ramping
once more towards their targets.
It is meaningless to use Hold when the outputs are already at their targets and not ramping.
