store the data and also assign a filename. For more
information, see “Storing Measurements”.
Prompt
When the Prompt preference is
selected and the Run Mode is set to
Timed Stop or Daily Timer , the LxT
neither prompts nor automatically
stores the data.
When the 7 key is pressed to stop a measurement, you are
prompted to save a data file. If you select Yes , the data file is
saved. If No is selected, the data file is not saved. If data is
stored when the 9 key is pressed, the instrument is
automatically reset so a new measurement may begin.
Store
Note: When the Store preference is
selected and the Run Mode is set to
Timed Stop or Daily Timer , the LxT
neither prompts nor automatically
stores the data.
In this mode, when the 7 key is pressed, a data file is
automatically saved. The default file name is assigned to the
file. There is no user interaction in this process.
Pressing the
9
key automatically resets the instrument so a
new measurement may begin.
