3-12 LUBRICATION
The 1200 Series Soil Master II must be lubri-
cated before using it for the first time, and at regu-
lar intervals thereafter. Use a standard multi-
purpose grease. (See Section 4-8) to lubricate
your 1200 Series Soil Master II.
3-13 DECAL PLACEMENT
Decals are extremely important for naming pur-
poses and for alerting others to the presence of
the machine. PLACE ALL DECALS on the Soil
Master II as shown in Figures 3-14 and 3-15.
Center them as nearly as possible between the top
and bottom on the frame bar. Sometimes, shank
spacing may position a tool frame too near the end
of the frame bar to place a reflective tape square
exactly as shown. Then place the square between
the U-bolts on the tool frame as near the proper lo-
cation as possible. A red reflective square is at-
tached to the rear of the left- and right-hand end
tool frames at the factory. If any decals become
unreadable, or are destroyed during use, get re-
placement decals from your Landoll dealer as soon
as possible, and replace them on the machine.
