To prevent serious injury or death:
The illustration in Figure 3-4 shows the danger zones where
no-one should be while the machine is in use. It is the
operator’s duty to keep such zones out of bounds; if necessary,
that person must turn the engine off and clear the danger zone.
Only start and operate the implement if no persons,
animals and/or objects are in the danger zone.
In unfavorable working conditions, objects may be
projected by the implement at high speed. Using the
implement without checking the danger zone beforehand
may cause serious accidents or death.

To prevent serious injury or death:
Carefully check to ensure that the safety guards are present
and correctly installed on the implement. Periodically check
their condition.
Working at Night
This Offset Flail Mower can be used at night. Working
under such conditions involves an increased number of
risks. To avoid endangering health and safety, all safety
alerts below must be read and followed.

To prevent serious injury or death:

All lighting devices installed on the tractor and on the
machine must be in proper working order.
•
If the work area's conditions require it, a preliminary
inspection must be carried out in order to identify any
hazardous areas (steep terrain, cliffs, etc.) and mark them
adequately.
Improper Use of the Flail Mower
Any use of the machine for purposes other than those
envisioned by the manufacturer is to be considered
improper use.
•
Do not use the machine as a means for transporting
people or objects.
•
Do not couple the machine to tractors whose hitch
category and features are not suitable.
•
Do not use the machine for any purpose other than its
intended applications.
