LaCie Dupli Disc CD121
User’s Manual
Initialization
The power supply LED at the bottom of the front panel lights up and the four LEDS at the top of the front panel light up for a
short time.
Important Note:
During initialization, if the Error LED remains lit, turn off the LaCie Dupli Disc CD121 and unplug
the power supply. Wait 10 seconds, and then re-connect the power supply and turn the drive back on.
Self-Test
Then the electronic board tests itself (components and LEDs).
Next, the Power LED lights up and remains lit. This means that initialization is finished and the duplication functions are
available. Your LaCie Dupli Disc CD121 is ready to use!
Important Note:
If the Error or all of the LEDs remain lit or are flashing for more than 30 seconds, the self-test has
failed. If this occurs, please turn off your LaCie Dupli Disc CD121 and turn it on again. If it fails again, contact your
LaCie reseller.
Speed and Mode
The LaCie Dupli Disc CD121 will automatically start recording at the default settings for the
Speed
and
Mode
unless they are
changed prior to inserting a master and blank CD. By pressing the
Speed
button, you can decrease the recording speed by
increments of 1/4. For more information regarding the different
