STEP 15|
Inject the cleaning solution, Cleaning Syringe, CMX25LS, in the luer lock port until the cleaning
syringe is empty. Reattach the plug in the luer lock fitting. Press the NEXT button.
STEP 16|
Press the CLEAN button.
STEP 17|
Remove the cleaning tubes and drain tube, begin to install the new cartridges. Press the NEXT
button.
STEP 18|
Select and press the proper cartridge kit being installed.

STEP 19|
Install the proper cartridge in the first position, (start right to left). Make sure the tubing/fittings are
pressed completely onto the cartridge. Then press the NEXT button.
STEP 20|
Install the remaining three cartridges in the proper order. Ensure the tubing/fittings are pressed
completely onto the cartridges. Press the NEXT button.
STEP 22|
Turn on the inlet water valve.
STEP 23|
Press the AIR PURGE button.
STEP 24|
Once the air purge is completed, install the 0.2 Micron Final Filter and press the NEXT button.
STEP 25|
Replace the cover then press the NEXT button.
STEP 26|
Cleaning is complete—press the DONE button.
STEP 27|
Press the ON button to start the Rapids™ system in the normal operation.
STEP 28|
Press the STANDBY button to place the unit in the standby mode.
STEP 29|
The standby mode will not have any components energized in this sequence, other than the micro-
processor.
